Recycling is more than just keeping empty bottles and cans out of the garbage. The process of turning old materials into new products not only saves energy and resources, it can also stimulate the economy by creating new jobs.

We should also consider using alternative fuels, building eco-friendly homes, buying from local markets and farmers, composting, properly disposing of electronics, batteries and household chemicals, reusing or repurposing discarded items, and simply buying less. All of these things go a long way to helping our environment by decreasing the size of landfllls, protecting natural resources, and reducing our dependence on oil.

An astounding 90% of what we throw away could potentially be recovered. I am passionate about recycling and reusing, and I can help you set up systems in your home or office that will be good for you and for the environment.
